  2. Frankly, I hate to see people comment negatively about limiting fruit. If we all ate an abundance of fresh whole fruit, we would thrive. The only upper limit is our appetite, and fresh is better than dried, but dried is fine. Live on fruit only for a week. Eat as much as you possibly can, and you will never gain weight. You'll also start to feel invigorated. You need more than fruit long term, naturally, but fruit is amazing. And I'd like to point out the research that found people eating a meat diet with the identical calories to others eating a whole food plant diet actually gained more weight. So talking about calories in fruit seems to me to be distracting from the over all result.
